My Students

The students in this classroom come from many diverse backgrounds. A peaceful area they will enjoy this school year is the meeting area. This is where students will share their thoughts and insights on a regular basis. It is here where they will get to participate in daily morning meetings and mini-lessons that set the pace for the day.

They are an insightful group of students willing to learn each and every day in their classroom.

The students in this classroom will also enjoy many activities in the meeting area such as partner conversations, yoga, music, story time and dance.

My Project

Throughout the day, students work on activities that need a place to be stored before it's time to go home. It's much easier to have students remain in the classroom instead of going back and forth to their backpacks that are outside.

Every second counts in the instructional classroom and having a place to quickly store completed activities will make a huge difference in terms of saving time.

Students like to have ownership and their own space to store their personal items such as pencils, glasses and paperwork. Having a sturdy mail slot with enough spaces for an entire class is just the solution.
