My students need a place for reading where they can enjoy exploring the world through books. They need book bins, a bookstand, learning center, and beanbag seats.
My students are the happiest bunch. They love engaging activities. They are motivated to learn and read. I call them smarties because they are a smart bunch of kids. They love when I read them books for read-aloud.
They enjoy games and cooperative learning.
Most of them do not have any books to read or any materials at home that will satisfy their love for reading. I want to make my students have a meaningful experience in school through conducive learning environment where learning is inviting and meaningful.
My Project
I believe in the saying that goes books are the windows to the world. As a teacher who loves reading, I know how important it is to have a place for reading in every classroom. Reading is an essential part of everyday learning. The more children read, the more they will learn and reach their highest potential. I am asking for a bookshelf so I can store the books I saved up. Right now, they are in boxes. I need a place to display them to make reading desirable for my kids. I also asked for a bean bag seat so they can sit down and enjoy reading comfortably. I am also requesting book bins so I can store some extra books and put them in a shelf. In this way, I can arrange the books by levels and genres. Lastly, I am asking for a circle time learning center. I think my kids will benefit using these material to improve their literacy skills. All these materials will have a huge impact on my students.
