This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have just returned to the classroom this year, after returning back to Pueblo to help my parents. I am excited to be back in the classroom with kindergartners! What joy these excited learners bring every day. Laughter and excitement for every aspect of the classroom. Most come from difficult home lives; of course, at this age, they tell me difficult details of home. I would like to create a warm and welcoming environment for them to come into and feel cozy and safe.

My Project

A place for everything and everything a place.

By providing child level shelves, baskets, and containers for students' writing tools and art supplies, it will help children learn where things go and students can easily get to tools at any time.

Young children learn best in a creative, organized environment, these materials that give children a way to organize helps them to become more independent in their learning environment.

Please help me in creating a warm, loving and caring classroom where children can find all the wonderful tools they need in their everyday learning.
