Help me give my students IRIS Medium Decorative Storage Baskets, Create-a-Space Storage Centers, ISusser Plastic Toothbrush Cases, Drawstring Backpack Bags Sack Pack Cinch Tote Sport Storage Polyester Bags and a Red Plastic Cubby Tray.
My class starts every day with the promise, "Let's make it a great day!" They enter the room excited to learn. They are a group of students who have embraced the idea of being a community of learners who are always there for each other. They are full of wonder. Throughout the school year, I watch them develop their ability to delve into a task and problem solve. Our school is built on the idea of community.
We are an ELL center-based school and have a high level of diversity which is embraced by staff, students, and the entire community.
We are also a Title I School where 72% of our students receive free or reduced-cost lunch. We do not let these things define us, rather we all work harder to overcome any obstacles that the students face that we cannot change. Students and staff give 100%.
My Project
We are a classroom that utilizes flexible seating. This has been a wonderful way for my students to have a choice in finding a comfortable seating style that allows them to fully engage in learning. Unfortunately, the tables and variety of seats mean that my students don't have desks where they can store their things. We would like a few items that will make us more organized and ready to learn. IRIS medium decorative baskets for storage would greatly help my students become more organized physically and mentally. We are also utilize departmentalization at the fifth-grade level and have the students move between the different classroom teachers for instruction. We are very excited about this, but I want to make sure that my students have their supplies organized and at their fingertips when they move between rooms. I feel that the Drawstring Backpack Bags, Sack Packs Cinch Tote Sport Storage Polyester Bag for Gym Traveling will be the answer to this. The toothbrush cases are an excellent way for students to keep track of their pencils. The red plastic cubby container will be used for student storage.
Organized minds, supplies, school work, and bodies will promote a happy and harmonious classroom in which students can be more productive learners.
We are very excited about this project to help us create an environment that will teach us organization.
