My students need these storage bins for our classroom in order to help increase organization, help with classroom routines, and will help build student responsibility.
As a teacher in a very diverse and low income area, our school and classroom is faced with many challenges. Even though we are faced with many challenges, we have an amazing community that helps support not only our school but also our students.
My classroom is comprised of 23 energetic and smiling faces.
Their energy and eagerness to learn is what encourages me to push and try to give them it all. Even though we are faced with challenges daily, we are a family and we support one another. While it being my first year in first grade, our classroom is need of some supplies and materials to best support and meet the needs of all of my students.
My Project
My students and our classroom is in need of storage containers to help the students learn responsibility and gain organization in the classroom. We have a very small spaced classroom so this will help keep all of the students supplies and materials all in one space and students will know exactly where all materials are.
The storage containers will be assigned to each table group and will supply and keep organized all of their papers for literacy, writing, and math which will keep the students responsible for their materials as well as keep materials in one area.
It will also house all of their supplies and folders.
