My Students

My students need help getting organized. I teach 21 wonderful 6 year olds and most haven't learned the skill of keeping their papers, desks, and backpacks organized.

I teach first grade to 21 terrific kids.

We are in a small school district that has only one school. Our school population has decreased dramatically over the years due to the local economy. The decrease in our population has affected our funding.

My Project

I am asking for a communication center/mailbox for my students. I currently don't have anywhere to put papers that students need to take home. Most of the time they get passed out at the end of the day by the student of the day. This is inefficient and a waste of time. The communication center/mailbox would be used to help get our classroom organized. It would help the student of the day learn how to file papers. It would give the students a place to easily and efficiently find their papers. This mailbox will be also used as a communication center for parents.

By donating to this project, you'll be giving my students a piece of furniture to help keep their classroom organized.

It will make for an inviting workplace. It will make communicating better between student, parent, and teacher.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
