My Students

My students are from a rural school district in Miami County Ohio. They usually turn 9 years-old. My third graders love to read and are excited about learning! They enjoy a safe and loving school environment. They arrive with smiles on their faces. Parents support education as most every student is represented on Open House. Our school is the center of our community.

This will be an especially exciting year as we are going to have flexible seating for the first time, that means we will have very few desks in our classroom.

We have lots of fun learning in small groups and getting to know each other through lots of interaction.

My Project

We, the children of a third grade class at MUE, need help organizing our supplies! We would love to have a colorful wooden storage bin to keep our supplies - one that has portable trays for each of us in our class to take anywhere in the classroom.

This will be our first year in our school's history for flexible seating.

Our classroom will look more like a coffeehouse than a classroom with no more desks to keep our supplies. We will use the trays to take anywhere in the room to work in seats we choose to collaborate daily.
