My Project

I teach children with special needs in a diverse school that teaches mostly students who qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. My students love school and they love learning through play. Most of my students are non-verbal and most have autism.

My students are working so hard to learn and gain independence skills, but have a hard time staying organized, so this project requests hooks for their supplies so we can teach them basic self-care needs.

We've also included lamination sheets so we can make reusable checklists they can mark off as they complete their daily tasks and batteries for a child who uses a basic talker to indicate approval or disapproval during work!
