Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We are a 100% Title I funded school. My students are loud, rambunctious, and full of life! They love to learn, play and go! They live in an urban neighborhood with people from all walks of life, so we teach them to be kind to everyone because you never know whose life you are impacting.

My kindergarten newbies are eager and excited to learn to read.

They love school, their teachers, and their families. Our goal is to keep it that way!

My Project

My students need a new carpet where everyone can have a seat. It will promote a sense of community as well as learning in the classroom.

The shapes and colors carpet not only allows everyone a place to sit; it will help the students learn shapes and colors in the process!

Therefore, this carpet will be stylish and functional. It will help us build community socially and academically looking great while doing so! It will also help everyone master the colors and shapes standards without even realizing that they are learning! This carpet is am investment that will be relevant from year to year!
