My Students

My students are talented, resourceful, bright, and loving. I have been amazed with the creativity I have seen from my students. My students have endless potential, and take every opportunity to better themselves through learning.

I am a first year teacher and my students have welcomed me with open arms.

I adore my students, and I love getting to know them more and more every day. It is my desire to provide my students with the best education I possibly can.

My Project

One thing I've discovered over the past 8 months as a first-year music teacher is that there's no such thing as one-size-firs-all learning.

Some students can absorb spoken lessons like a sponge, some are hands-on learners, and others need visual aids to fully understand the lessons.

Because of this, it is my goal to introduce picture books to my music classrooms to that my students have access to another channel of learning. Picture books have proven to be excellent tools for young growing minds, and I believe they have just as necessary of a role in the music room. Raising funds for picture books would allow me to give my students a more well-rounded music education through a tried-and-true medium.
