This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am writing this proposal for my high school vocal students that participate in our Intermediate and Advanced Choirs. Our high school serves a large urban area and has a high percentage of students that are low-income.
Many of our students are highly interested and motivated in their study of vocal music.
They look forward to their choir concerts and performances. Part of putting on a great performance includes looking great. Our boys sport great looking tuxedos, while the girls wear beautiful two toned black and cream colored choir dressed. The cost of concert attire is very high for many of our students, and we do everything we can to lower the cost of these necessary choir outfits so that all students can participate in a high level choir experience.
My Project
We are asking for photo frames to help with a choir fundraiser. Every year we take formal pictures of the choir students all dressed up in their concert attire. They look forward to dressing up and taking beautiful pictures with their friends. We are interested in turning this years photo shoot into a fundraiser. This will help some of our disadvantaged students who have difficulty paying for their choir attire fees.

My students that participate in these programs are creating memories that will last a lifetime. These positive experience will push them to higher accomplishments and have positive effects on their education in the future. Thank you for believing and participating in quality music education.
