A Picture is Worth a Thousand Birds!

Help me give my students bird feeders, mealworms, storage, and bird books of all kinds to further our students' interest in birds. We're raising future ornithologists!

My Project

Spring is about to arrive and our birds are building nests right outside our windows! Our kids are so excited to see them every time they visit, but it's too hit and miss right now... so we need to bring the birds with a constant food source!

In order to encourage students to explore zoological studies and careers, we need to feed their interest in our local bird buddies by feeding the birds and their minds!

We will hang the feeders on our library windows right by one of our birdhouses, allowing students an up-close view of our feathered friends. Then, students will use the books to engage in nonfiction studies and feathery fiction!
