Help me give my students an engaging tool to increase self-confidence during presentations and encourage risk-taking when asking questions. The Q-ball microphone will support students communication development.

I have 22 eager little explorers. Two of these little explorers receive special education services, one is homeless, and six have been selected for our county's Entrada enrichment program. Most of them entered kindergarten without attending preschool or headstart programs. We began the year by establishing a collaborative, caring community and discovering how each one of us can contribute and help everyone succeed.
We have a class motto, "We can - We will- We did!" As their favorite character, Horton said, "A person's a person no matter how small." My little explorers bound in early each morning to begin our day thirty minutes ahead of the bell so that we can continue our journey together.
All 22 of my amazing students do their best to contribute to our classroom community.
The Q-ball microphone will encourage my students to share reasoning, cite evidence, and encourage classmates to use talk-moves to respond to their peers when discussing academic content while developing interpersonal communication skills.
By donating to this project, you will help students increase attention and develop courage while developing communication skills.
In this technological age, students will also be able to participate in discussions, STEM project planning, math talks, calendar math, and shared writing projects with excitement and accuracy with this tool. This tool will level the field for those students who are shy, struggle with autism or other special challenges.
