This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are imaginative, creative and excited to learn! Welcome to the world of third grade! When you work with my students you will be entertained and inspired by them. As a class of 15 students with language and learning disabilities they learn through art, visuals, real life experiences and different genres of literature. By allowing these young minds to experience new trips and adventures we can help to give them a life-long love of learning. Our school is a Title I school located in Cliffside Park, New Jersey.

My Project

Look! There is a Penguin on Parade! Students will be immersed in a nonfiction study All About Penguins! They will be reading, writing and researching about penguins as part of a nonfiction unit of study.

Please help me bring a REAL LIVE penguin into my classroom!

With your generous donation of any amount we will be able to have a penguin outreach zookeeper from the Turtle Back Zoo bring a penguin into the classroom to teach us about this beautiful creature!

This experience will bring excitement and joy into student's lives and give them a lasting memory! Please help me create this special experience for my students.
