Help me give my students the opportunity to visit Alliance Redwoods. Help my students escape the four walls of the classroom, and their everyday routines and learn and experience what the Red Woods has to offer!
My students this year are very visual/kinesthetic learners. They love to experience new things and ask lots of questions.
Every morning my students walk in with a smile on their face as they greet me at the door.
They sit down at the carpet every morning and compliment students based on how they make them feel or based on their personality traits. Therefore, they are lifting each others buckets one compliment at a time. My students are the reason I am here!
My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. A lot of them have never seen the ocean let alone the Red Woods. Alliance Redwoods offers science classes, hikes through the Red Woods, night hikes, team building exercises, challenge courses, and a night fire. This year they raised their prices, which is why I need your help! So please, help make this Outdoor Education trip possible to Alliance Redwoods for my 5th grade students.
Help them get away from technology and experience the beauty of nature!
Help them build respect and love for nature while learning about ecology. Help my students experience a once in a lifetime opportunity.
