My Students

I teach Title I Reading support to students in grades K-6. My students come to class eager to learn! They are proud of themselves when they master a new concept. We are now a remote school which brings along new challenges for everyone.

My students will not allow these challenges to keep them from learning.

They are ready to tackle online learning!

My Project

Covid-19 has changed the way we are learning. A document camera will allow my students to see books that I am reading, and they will be able to follow my finger in real time! It will help make remote learning seamless. Switching back and forth between screens while I am instructing is distracting, and having our materials on the document camera will help us stay focused.

Once we return to the classroom, I will use the document camera to project books, letters, and other teaching tools onto my whiteboard so that the students can view the materials clearly and maintain an appropriate social distance from their classmates.
