My Students

Our school strives to help students become well-rounded citizens by using 21st century interdisciplinary themes within our curriculum. Technology is integrated into the classroom on a daily basis and is a very important part of today's society.

My students are creative, problem-solvers who are beginning to use a variety of tools to differentiate their learning experiences.

They are expected to work through challenges, learn every day and build a growth mindset.

As a grade level, our goal is to provide all students access to technology, books, and materials that can enhance their learning. DonorsChoose.org and donors like you help us make this goal possible. Thank you for making a difference in our classroom and in our learning.

My Project

We currently use many programs that help students dive deeper into content. Headphones will help students hear and interact with instruction. They enjoy using assigned and differentiated computer programs during the school day. These programs do not replace learning, but instead add to the content being taught. With these programs, students are often given individualized instruction at their own independent level.

These requested headphones will allow my students to use technology to access everyday content in a new way.

The ability to hear and interact with new material creates a more exciting environment for my students.

Hearing someone else explain the same content taught by the teacher often helps students better understand. They have the opportunity to choose a method that fits them.
