I have a very diverse group of students this year, students with autism, English language limitations, ADHD,and specific learning disabilities to students with above average scores on their state tests. This wonderful group somehow mixes together into a perfect form like a rare bag of perfectly balanced skittles. I would like an opportunity to help reach each more on their individual levels and differentiate to their needs.
Sixth graders are so special as they are just stepping into new ways to identify themselves as individuals like never before.
Helping them to see their growth throughout the year, finding a positive way through middle school, and showing each one of them the have the potential for something great is one of the best aspects to being their teacher.
My Project
This is just a simple request for a tablet for use in my middle school classroom. This tablet unlike iPads and Fire tablets has an HDMI output. That will allow for it to easily connect to the projector to display annotations for the classroom in real time or when working with the students individually, I can quickly access any of the online resources and work to show them areas of praise or advice. All of this without the awkward call back to the teachers desk to review items on the computer.
