A New Snare Drum for the Band

My students need a snare drum that wasn't made over 30 years ago.

My Students

My students enjoy entertaining the crowd, and this activity keeps these students busy and out of trouble! These students are all on a free or reduced lunch program due to the community economics.

Our swing band is one of the oldest marching bands in the country, dating back to 1914.

They perform seven new shows a season, which is one for every home game. These students spend approximately 15 or more hours a week in rehearsal, not including home practice time.

My Project

A new modern snare drum will give my students motivation to practice to get to play a solo on this drum. They will also love playing this drum every day during band class.

Our newest drum is over 25 years old.

This drum would be the first step in replacing and updating our currently worn-out inventory. Drums often get overlooked when replacing school-owned instruments. Help us to update our snare drums.

I can't wait to see the kids lining up to play this drum with smiles on their faces! Thank you for helping us to make it happen this year!
