My Students
Kindergartners come with no expectations. They just want to have fun and meet new friends! I want my students to feel happy and loved by the environment they will spend the majority of their days in. The room gives them their first impression of how our year will go.
My Project
I am moving from an upper grade to kindergarten. It’s starting all over really. I am so excited about teaching littles! However, the pandemic has set a tone for our society in recent months, and I simply want my students to feel like kindergarten is their safe and welcoming second home. The flexible seating will allow for small group instruction, while the chart materials will be utilized in whole group calendar time. The rug will assist the students in being aware of personal space. Help me make their first year in school the best!
