Each of my students is unique and I love bringing out their individual personalities! I get great joy seeing their eyes light up when something difficult finally clicks or even when I make a silly reference to something they love (usually Pokémon or Minecraft). I have had the pleasure to work with students at all levels of learning and that has helped me learn to be more flexible. I appreciate them each and every day! As the end of the school year approaches, I look forward to seeing my kids continue to thrive in Third grade and I can’t wait to meet my new students!
I want to rebuild my classroom to create a more organized space conducive to learning. My room has served my students well but after three years, it is time for a new look and better organization. I plan to re-theme my room which will lead to out of pocket costs. Part of the re-theme will require organization tools. I want to be able to focus all my efforts on lesson planning next year and less on decluttering and cleaning.
I hope to completely reinvent my space over the Summer.
One way to do this is to get some specific tools. I am in need of a mobile drawer organizer. I want to create a specific space to store all materials for each day of the week and additional items for students to use. I also want to use the top of the organizer as my students' "turn in" station for assignments. This would free up space on my counter top. I also need several binders to organize and clean up my paper files. Finally, I am hoping to get a rolling crate so I can easily transport student papers, supplies, and chromebooks from one place to another.
It’s time for a fresh start! Any help is greatly appreciated!
