My students need a music library! Every class no matter what grade ends with a songtale. Some of these songs tales have book illustrations. Being able to see the tale is magical for students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students at my school show grit and determination! This school has made giant improvements academically in the past year. They are supported by a staff that works very hard to provide the best experiences for all students. This year it's time to match their soaring academics with the love of the arts!
Our students want to learn how to write music, and have big ideas about how music shapes their lives.
These kids are excited about music and chorus and they are ready for the new school year.
My Project
Growing up, reading books in class was a big memory of mine and many of my close friends. Music stories, (or often called songtales) is the perfect ending for a fun music classroom. A music library will enhance students interest in music, and get them singing along. Singing is a big part of music class in elementary school.
Our younger students are working on singing independently and finding their voice.
My music class consists of moving, keeping the beat, lots of singing, and laughter. Adding a library will be a huge benefit to our school and our music program! Our students will enjoy this group time at the end of the class.
