The students in my class come from different economic backgrounds. Most of them are from low-income families. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I am looking for experiences to help my students develop an interest in science.
I focus on their potential and growth.
I may not be able to control their home lives; however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hoping to inspire my students and develop a curiosity in math and science. I want to provide projects that lead to discussions and new questions.
My Project
The use of individual computer mice and headphones will help our students be able to perform individualized projects without having to share resources and spread germs. These items can also aid in their virtual school work if we have to go to virtual classrooms.
Technology is widely used in our classroom.
Providing students with personal tools to use with Chromebooks will make learning easier and safer at school and home. We want our students to be prepared for any type of learning that we can provide them.
A computer mouse will allow them to drag and drop, draw with their mouse to show their work, and do any other digital activity with ease.
These tools can be used no matter what learning model the student is participating in.
