My students need 50 garment bags to carry their costumes and 9 books to help them find the perfect monologue for audition time.

Off we go!!! In the wild, blue..... theater? I teach high school tech theater and theater arts and so far this year has been amazing! The program has really taken off in the interest area. We are busting at the seams with kids who want to participate, but we are a very poor school, and do not have the resources to offer them the individual learning that they deserve.

Competition season is upon us and I found that my students are having a remarkably hard time finding resources to help them in their auditions. Most are so poor that they have no computer to access on line material or a car to go to a library to get some. Our library does not have sufficient materials either, so

Our library does not have sufficient materials either, so they find that it is extremely hard to do something they love, and I don't want them to lose hope because the school can't provide the materials that they need. That being said, everything else is scarce too which includes costumes. The garment bags would help us keep the few costumes we have in good shape so we can take them to contest in the best shape possible.

Please help my students know that other people out there care for them enough to believe in what they love.
