Help me give my students headphones for better and more focused tech time, as well as some STEM learning resources to help them succeed in the 21st century.
My students in Utah are an energetic, excited, and passionate bunch. They come into class each day ready to learn and grow. My students are thoughtful, creative, positive, and are amazing at never giving up.
Each one of my students love learning, although each one does so in a slightly different way.
Each child works hard to provide their best work on all tasks and are great at offering help to their peers in need. I love to see the growth and positivity in the room each day.
My Project
These headphones will make it easier for my students to take tests, do work, and be on their Chromebooks. We do a lot of work on Chromebooks in my class, including tests. Many of our assignments have speak-aloud portions (text is read aloud, there is a video, etc.). As of right now, my students do not have headphones and are stuck trying to sort out their own computer's noise from everyone elses in the classroom.
With these headphones, students will be better able to focus on their work and achieve their best.
These STEM games and resources will make my classroom better geared toward the 21st century. Students these days need to learn more skills that apply to the age we are in than the traditional methods of teaching. I want to provide them with some resources that will get their brains thinking with a more 21st century spin.
