My students need books for our library tailored to the interest of third graders. We could also use supplies such as glue sticks and papers for our many projects and our interactive classroom experiences.
As a first year ELA teacher, it's my goal to provide my students with the necessary reading materials to enhance their academic abilities and facilitate their comprehension. I have a diverse group of students from military families that need a welcoming and supportive classroom environment. My students are faced with many challenging circumstances that pertain to military life including family-separation, transitions, and other life changing events, which ultimately has an impact on students academic performance.
My students love learning and flourish when given the opportunity to to try new things.
I believe in providing them with a safe place to grow and giving them all the necessary resources to accomplish this!
My Project
My students truly enjoy the Magic Tree House books. I would love to be able to provide them with access to this series in our class library. The entire set of books would be available for every student not just this year, but for many years to come.
Each story in the series has the power to engage my students and encourage their love for reading.
The school supplies will be used on ELA and Social Studies projects. We are always in need of glue, paper, erasers, and markers. I believe in using interactive activities including foldables/lap-books to engage students and provide hands-on learning.
