This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first graders are energetic learners who love to be engaged in all subject areas. Our class is filled with children who are learning how to read and listen to stories. A new carpet will allow them to have a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy listening to stories. They will also be able to have their own place during our mini lessons to work and be engaged on new colorful rug. This would really make a difference in our classroom.

My Project

This carpet will allow my students to have new clean place sit and learn. The carpet area in my class is used often as we learn there daily. Stories are read on the carpet, partnerships talk there, and students just love to sit there and learn.

Children work on math problems on the carpet as they navigate manipulatives as they solve their problems.

A new carpet will allow our class to come to live and the children will have a magical experience every day. A new carpet would make a difference in the classroom and the children will love to sit and learn on vibrant new carpet.
