Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

It is an honor to introduce my students because they make me proud to be a teacher every day. My students are of diverse ethnic backgrounds and about 20 percent receive special services to maximize learning opportunities.

My students are infinitely creative and insightful.

Their mindset is one of growth where they relish challenging learning tasks. They love to work in small groups and partnerships and the freedom to choose their learning spaces that stimulates their curiosity and scholarship.

My Project

My students love to learn in groups and partnerships and need loads of space to do so. However, having their own space on the learning and reading carpet allows them to have a physical boundary that will define their own space. This will make them more comfortable with and attentive to others and the learning task.

My students would love to gather on a spacious, inviting, and colorful carpet.

Currently, we have a carpet that is too small. Sadly, some students have to sit on the bare floor. Our current carpet is also tattered and unattractive. A new carpet will make a world of difference!
