We are a culturally diverse, rural high school. Our students are the pride of our school system. Students compete on all levels from local to national through athletics, FFA, FBLA, and BETA club activities. As a high school media specialist, I serve the entire 9th- through the 12th-grade student population.
We have high expectations for our students, and we want them to leave high school fully prepared for whatever they have chosen, whether it be college, vocational, or straight into a career field.

My Project
As library media specialist, senior sponsor, and Prom sponsor I am responsible for a lot of fundraising! Our juniors are learning about budgeting, marketing, strategic thinking, teamwork, and collaboration as well as financial literacy as they try to plan for our Prom. We have created a coffee shack in our school and now need some of the supplies to keep our business flourishing. Through the process of raising money for the school prom and other activities, our students will also be learning some marketable work skills.
Through our Wolfpack Shack, our baristas will offer coffee, lattes, and a "lotta" more as they try to grow our business.
With the variety of syrups and hot and cold cups with lids, we will be ready to run our coffee shop more efficiently on our way to learning more about running a business and financial literacy!
