My Students

I teach in an Urban/Multicultural school from a low socioeconomic background which consists of African American, Hispanic, Asian, French, and Caucasian students. All my students have free breakfast and lunch every day. My students are hardworking, motivated, and love coming to class. We work with each student individually to help them communicate what their personal goals and visions for their futures are. My students are looking forward to being as independent as possible so that they are prepared for high school in their upcoming year.

My Project

Most of my students are at home using personal computers, school computers, or tablets. We use technology daily in my classroom, especially during this pandemic. Using a laptop will help to advance my older students in all areas they need to pass and be successful. This will help to do small group instruction and allow me to still assist the rest of my class. We can all stay focused and connected. Success is our goal and the laptop will help with this and allow us to achieve all obtainable goals.
