My second grade classroom consists of 18 wonderful students. They so badly want to learn and experience everything about the world. They live in a rural area of NC and attend a Title I school where many students receive free and reduced lunch.
The students are full of wonder and see excitement in everything they do.
Many try so hard and overcome challenges in order to learn and grow. The community works together to grow the students that we nurture daily. In order to give them the best learning experience possible, we try and find ways to get them all the things that students in non-rural and higher-income schools have. We can see the potential in each and every one!
All students should be able to learn in an environment and with the tools that work best for them. Providing this special seating will help students who have trouble sitting in a regular chair. These wobble chairs allow students to wiggle safely without distracting other students.
These seats help students stay active while learning without causing any trouble.
These are a fun alternative to regular chairs that have been shown to increase focus and help students do better in school. This quick and easy classroom sensory strategy can be put into place with your help. This seat offers structure, stability and the ability to wiggle without moving all around the room.
