Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are extra special to me because I have had the opportunity to get to know and work with many of their older siblings or relatives. Many of my students deal with issues and stress in their home lives that young children should be exempt from, yet they continue to persevere and show up with mostly positive attitudes every day!
I am committed to making their time at school with me fun, positive, and effective.
My way of doing this is to provide exciting and engaging lessons where students are eager and excited to participate, as well as ensure that they feel loved, supported, and cared for.
My Project
The resources requested in this project are being requested to go along with these book sets about feelings and emotions!
These sets of plush emojis will correlate to the books, and will be a cute visual for students to see an expression of these feelings as they read the books!
These plush emoji's will be an additional resource that students can use while they are completing activities over these books. The educator's guides come with a variety of activities and lessons that can be done with these books, as well. I am looking forward to being able to complete some of this learning with my students!
