A Little Paper, a Couple of Brushes and Young Minds
My students need good paper and brushes. The scrapers will help students make patterned backgrounds.
Art education is an important part of a quality education. My goal as an elementary art teacher is to introduce students to many different art materials and have them experience the joy in creating art. Our students love the art room. Quality materials will make a difference for them.
I enjoy watching students work through difficulties and come out with a project they are proud of.
Not every child is an artist, but they don't need to be to experience joy in art.
Quality paper and brushes can make a huge difference in art projects. The students will feel the quality of the paper and brushes and be able to make what they see in their minds come to life. Construction paper absorbs the paint and does not allow the paint to flow like a watercolor painting should.
The art project that they love from elementary school will last for years to come on quality paper.
The brushes will last for many years and hundreds of students will be using them. Our student will enjoy using these new materials in the elementary art classroom.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
