A Little of This and a Little of That

Help me give my students a variety of needed resources, from new baskets for our classroom library to labels and ink for labeling our interactive notebooks.

My Students

Our school is a rural school that serves many neighboring communities. We have a mix of abilities from those functioning several grade levels below grade level to those functioning much higher than their grade level. Our families are hardworking and do all they can to support their kids.

My students are rock stars and deserve everything.

If I could, I'd give them the world. DonorsChoose and the amazing donors behind it help me open a window to the world to see what's out there. You also let them see that in this crazy, scary world, kindness is still there.

My Project

We keep thinking that this year is going to be better than the last, and well, the universe laughs at us. I am determined to try and make that true for my kids. I'm trying to fill some gaps in the classroom, replenishing things we've used or just making it more organized and safe for the kids.

All of the things I'm asking for will help make our classroom more organized and happy for my kids.

The baskets that hold our classroom library are close to ten years old and starting to show their age. When the kids take them down to choose a book, they have to hold them carefully so they don't fall apart. The baskets will replace them. I also have added picture books to my classroom, so the wooden bins will help me display them because they have taken over the chalkboard tray.

The labels are for our interactive science and social studies notebooks, and the ink will go to our classroom printer so I can print the labels. The laminating pouches will let me laminate the materials in our classroom. And finally, the stickers are the new hot item for classroom prizes. I am requesting quite a little gumbo of assorted goodies, all designed to make our classroom better. Thank you for considering to help make this happen for my kids!
