Help me give my students toys and tools to help our class run more efficiently during these crazy times such as a train set, wood stackers, vehicles, puzzles, and more.
They are the future! My classroom is made up of bright, loving, inspiring, active 5 year old learners! They are future presidents, teachers, engineers, doctors, and overall world changing citizens- even if they don't know it yet! They come to school ready to do their best each day even in these crazy times!
My Project
As this crazy year progresses, I keep finding a need for things to help my classroom run smoother. COVID-19 has caused us to have to rearrange our schedules and give up somethings we would normally have. For example, when students come in in the morning they use to go to recess. Now since we have to have individual classes at the playground we lost our first recess. These toys and building items will give my students the opportunity to still be able to play and develop social and play skills as well as problem solving skills.
I am trying my hardest to create learners who can use technology independently, but that has brought its own challenges as well!
A lot of times students are bringing their ipads to school not charged. I have an older classroom and I do not have enough plug ins to adequately charge all of their devices. Having a charging stand would allow me to charge more Ipads at one time and have them ready to use when we need them for learning opportunities. All of the items requested will help enhance the learning of my students in my classroom in all areas!
