My students need a wireless game system and batteries to help turn classroom quizzing into a fun competition!
This project expired on November 25, 2013.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Did you know that classroom competitions can turn quizzes into fun? This game system can help my students to compete against each other in game show type games as a way to be quizzed on information, practice for standardized testing, and turn learning into fun!
The students I work with are home schooled students in a charter school.
They have the opportunity to come to a classroom one day per week in multi-age classes. They range in grades from kindergarten to eighth grade. These students come from various ethnic and socioeconomic reasons and span over three different counties.
These students look forward to their weekly class where they can interact with their peers in fun and engaging ways. As a part of the classroom lessons we often quiz on material learned in an informal way and they love to compete boys vs. girls in Jeopardy type games.
This game system and batteries will help students to be able to learn material in a fun and engaging way. Instead of taking paper and pencil quizzes and tests, they will have the opportunity to answer questions about learned information in friendly game shows style with the Eggspert game system. They will be so engaged, will work with their teammates, and will work hard to learn new information in order to participate in the game like quizzes.
The students involved in these game show quizzes in class will create fun memories of classroom competitions and will also gain content knowledge in preparation for the games.
Please help us purchase this game system and batteries to allow students to have fun while learning!
