This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kindergarten is a strong stone in a child's path to a successful education. When you walk into our room you can't help but smile when you see all those loving and eager faces looking at you.

My classroom is one of the happiest places for my students!

I have such a diverse group of students: bilingual, low income, GT, recent immigrants, and each one brings something special and unique to our classroom community. One of the biggest reasons I love Kindergarten and my students is that they crave knowledge.

Each year, my students inspire me to be a more compassionate and inquisitive person. I am so proud of the work that they do, and how, despite these extremely difficult times, they still strive to explore

My Project

After more than a year of taking virtual classes, my students have returned to school to receive face-to-face instruction, and many of them cannot recognize numbers, colors, or shapes.

My students need daily Math interventions.

With your enormous contribution and generosity, I will be able to work directly with my group of Kindergarteners who need daily interventions during our Math block. This corner desk will allow my little ones to be more focused during the interventions and I will be able to have the materials and equipment very well organized.
