At our Title I school, almost all of my students are second language learners. Their drive to learn and achieve is amazing.
My classroom is full of learners and future leaders who are superheroes.
My students are the face of the United States of America. Some were born in this country to English speaking parents. Some were born in the United States to Spanish or Vietnamese speaking parents. Others were born in another country and immigrated to the United States. One thing that all of my students have in common is their zest for learning. They are so wonderful in that they don't see the differences between each other.
We need new blue pens to correct our work. The students are responsible for correcting their morning work and homework with a pen so they can learn from misconceptions.
My students are my heroes and new nameplates on their desks will help spruce things up!
The markers will be used to write their names on these nameplates and customize them. By the middle of the school year, nameplates become a bit dilapidated.
And who doesn't love new erasers? Some fun erasers are always a welcome addition to the classroom. It seems like erasers disappear as quickly as the ones on the ends of the pencils. This is a nice chunky eraser that should last until the end of the school year.
