My students need a variety of basic classroom supplies including markers, magnetic display shelves, a Help-Yourself Supply Center, tape, construction paper, and Post-it chart paper.
Our Title I elementary school is a beautiful mosaic of different cultures and backgrounds. All of our student qualify for free breakfast and lunch and many are living in shelters. Families are struggling to make ends meet and most students come to school without basic school supplies.
My enriched classroom is a warm and nuturing place for my children and I am constantly challenged to find activities and materials that can bring them academically higher up.
We're halfway through the school year and already I'm running out of basic classroom supplies. Having the right supplies is hard for me to afford and your financial support is so gratefully appreciated.
My Project
My class hums with project activity and we are going through basic supplies quicker than can last the school year. With our upcoming language and math units I know we are going to need so much more for both the students and me.
I'm requesting a variety of basic supplies including Post-it paper, markers, tape, construction paper, bulletin board paper (for displays), an electric pencil sharpener, and a Help-Yourself-Supply Center.
These supplies will be use IMMEDIATELY and can also help my students coming in next year. Everything can be organized for easy access with the Help-Yourself supply center. The sharpener will ensure that we always have sharp pencils for writing. My anchor charts help reinforce instruction and the Post-it paper is so easy for mounting. My student love creating displays and the different bulletin board paper will be so colorful.
Again, thank you for all your help with my classroom.
