My Students

Some call us engineers while others call us innovators, but we don't mind you just thinking of us as the "Knights in Coding Armor!"

Our school is a new STEM school rich in PBL and community.

We are a public magnet school offering a unique curriculum rich in "doing" and and based on experiences. Our empowering atmosphere has attracted students from miles around, but what's most special is that we are located in the heart of a diverse community that is categorized as being the most in need of a high-quality education. Students at our school come from a wide range of backgrounds and we are proud that we are able to support and nurture innovative STEM education to students of all backgrounds.

Your support helps us continue to offer an education built for the workforce of tomorrow using the skills and technology that will be required in the most sought after careers.

My Project

Our LEGO design and programming has made some great progress in our two years in the program using borrowed EV3 robotics and materials from our STEM library. These robotic components are shared with two other after school programs. What this new robot will provide to our programmers is to continue to use the robotics for their own purposes without borrowing parts from other areas of the school, better preserving the integrity and quality of the code that they have developed.

Coding and robotics will be highlight skills for our youth as they prepare to enter the global workforce of the next generation.

These robotics will be utilized both in the classroom as well as during after school programming to explore more more complex coding than our students are currently working with.
