Help me give my students the opportunity to be engaged and motivated, while also making it easier for me to individualize instruction and tract their progress with the use of tablets, and a laptop.

I have one of the greatest jobs in the world, educating students with special individual needs. I have committed my life to being an advocate for the educational needs of all Special Needs students through the provisions of appropriate and effective instruction. My students are my heart ! I enjoy walking in the building in the morning. Several of my students have learning disabilities. However, I instill within them that we are all going to be productive scholars in life, it's just that some of us learn a little differently than others, and that's what makes us all special in some way. I am constantly teaching them correct manners, and how to appreciate even the small things in life and how to always say please and thank you. I service all of my students in their classrooms as well as in my resource classroom. They are very lovable students and their parents are very supportive .
The use of technology in my classroom will help break the barriers for my students with disabilities , and provide them with access to the most relevant educational programs. Some advantages of using the tablets are that they will provide direct communications with the students, it's a more personal approach, it will boost my student's creativity and improve their computer skills. Furthermore, having a laptop for the students to use in the Special Needs classroom will help the students who may be extremely slow in handwriting, display slow processing speed, or have difficulty with working memory and cannot hold information in mind long enough to write it down. Technology can be the best support for taking notes for kids with special needs. I teach students with ADHD, executive functioning difficulties and Learning Disabilities, and the use of laptops in my classroom will definitely be an asset in my classroom.
