Celebrate Black Teachers and Students
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our Title I school is full of wonderful students that come from all walks of life. Many of them participate in the free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch program. Even though we have students that have a difficult time bringing the basic supplies to school, they come to school ready and eager to learn.
Our students enter the doors of our colorful school knowing that the staff is prepared to help them reach their potential of being college and career ready.
My Project
During our English Language Arts block we read about different holidays when the holiday is coming up. The students enjoy learning how each holiday got started and the way others celebrate. This year I would like to provide my students with an Easter surprise.
My students are awesome. They work hard, are kind to others, and enjoy school. Giving each of them a jumbo plastic Easter egg filled with small items like Easter bracelets, Tootsie Rolls, gummy candy, bunny necklaces, and a few other small items will make their day.
