Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
These art supplies are specifically designed to be developmentally appropriate for the ability level of my three and four-year-old. The triangular shaped crayons will encourage us to use our three-point grip and improve our writing skills before entering kindergarten. And the multicultural crayons will allow my beautifully diverse children to draw all over their friends as we learn together throughout the year.
In order to build a stronger foundation for reading, we are focused on providing our children with models and opportunities to process the information they are given, not just memorize things.
We want them to think and draw, to respond to what they have learned and make connections to other things. These tools will keep our centers in small groups engaging and exciting as we challenge our children to think harder, to dig deeper, to learn more.
By giving my children the proper tools to complete the assignments we expect them to, we can build their confidence and engagement in the learning process. Thank you for considering our project.
