My Project

The holidays are a special time of the year. It has its own set of traditions and experiences. The students in my classroom, some are new to the country and some are low income and have not had the chance to experience what the holidays have to offer. Every student deserves a chance to have the simple things bring them joy. And that's my goal with this project.

The items in my cart will help my students experience a traditional American holiday and even be able to tie in some of their own cultural experiences.

Not only will my students be able to have an authentic experience in holiday traditions, they will also have an opportunity to be creative and express themselves. My goal as a kindergarten teacher is to create experiences that these children will never forget and to foster learning in a profound way.
