This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are caring, kind, and loving kids. They all come from low-income households and they are proud to live in their small community.
My students my not be the richest kids around but they are so special in every other way.
My Project
Many of my students do not have access to healthy snacks every day. They often rely on unhealthy snacks to keep them going from day to day. I want to make sure that my students have access to healthy snacks while learning from home.
Having these healthy snacks will may a huge difference for my students. I want my students engaged and focus while learning remotely from home. Having a healthy snack available can help my students ability to stay focus on their task. These snacks will help us support my students greatly.
