My Students

I am a 4th grade teacher in a Title I Feeder school in Maryland. Over 56% of the students in our 4th grade class come from low income homes and come to school without all of the necessary materials to be ready to learn. Regardless of the challenges and difficulties, my students are kind, sweet, and eager to learn!

With a little help from DonorsChoose, I am confident my students can obtain the necessary materials to support my students to learn.

My Project

Our fourth grade team goes out for recess each day. We have a huge field, jungle gym, and a basketball court for our students, but we do not have any recess equipment. With your help, our fourth grade team is hoping to get our students active during their recess time!

It is crucial for children to be active and get exercise daily.

We know that many of them play video games at home, and we would like them to be as active as possible while they are in school!

We are hoping that having recess equipment would motivate our students to run around with their friends and have a great time!
