I am working with 19 very diverse Kindergartners in an area where families are struggling to keep their heads above water. We recently received a beautiful wooden doll house for the classroom but, alas, it is vacant and desperately needs furniture and a family! These simple materials will allow the children to explore social skills and increase communication between each other as well as improve vocabulary and share stories from their own families. These stories are a way to increase the home-school connection so important to effective learning. I would like to have a diverse set of families so the children's play will match their home experiences. Thank you!
