This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school every day eager to learn and do their best. They are amazing children and hard-working students. They work even harder because English is not their first language, and to be successful they receive extra support while they continue learning English. Many of my students are low-income and they have limited access to technology and resources at home. This is why it is so important for me to provide the best environment possible for them.

It is so amazing and encouraging to see how they try their best to continue growing in knowledge and to support each other in anything they need.

They are great kids, always ready to give a hug and a smile to someone that needs it.

My Project

The rolling carts will help my students have a place to store their books and classroom materials. They will be able to keep everything together in one place and have more space in their desks. The school supplies and cleaning wipes will greatly benefit our classroom needs.

The books will be a great addition to our classroom library.

My students will be very happy to have new books to read. The iPad's screen protectors will help us keep our iPads protected from everyday use, and the charger station will make our daily use easier. The headphones are greatly needed.

The clipboards and erasable markers will be very helpful when completing some of the activities in our math and reading stations. This will help us save paper.
