My students enter our classroom doors excited to learn and happy to be in a safe and caring environment. We are proud to be a small, yet diverse school in a rural community in Wisconsin. We celebrate our proud state and of course cheer on the Packers!
Our school is considered a Title I school, which comes with a unique set of obstacles.
Despite our size and low income status, our district understands the importance technology plays in a global society. Therefore, the decision was made to become a one-to-one school. Each child has a device to enhance his/her education.
Although it is not always easy for a district our size, we understand the importance technology plays in a global society. We want our students, from rural Wisconsin, to have the skills, drive, and confidence to make a difference in the technological world!
My Project
In our classroom we believe that small group guided reading is the best way to learn to read and enhance the love of reading. Throughout the day I pull small groups and struggling learners to the table for small group for extra attention. A horseshoe table enables us to learn in a small family style setting.
The children will use this table on a daily basis working on language arts, science and STEM activities and extra math support.
By supporting this project, you will enhance the love of learning in each child. They are always excited to meet one on one with me. We will use this table to create a safe, engaging space to learn.
