My Students
My students work together and make our classroom feel like a family environment. They love to read and want more and more books to choose from. The students also love math and can often be found writing math facts for each other to solve. They are kind hearted and always willing to help in any way that they can.
The students in my class truly have a desire to learn and come in eager and ready for knowledge.
Seeing their faces light up when they grasp a new concept makes all of the hard work worth it.
My Project
Having materials that are hands on and make learning fun are essential, especially when students are first getting into the routine of school. Giving Kindergarten students materials like Write the Letter Activity Center, Leveled Sight-Word Practice Cards and Snap & Build Sight-Words - Level 1 will instill a love for words and reading in them that will continue to grow as they move along in their educational journey. The faces of my students light up when they are able to grasp a new word or when they correctly sound out a word when writing. These materials would allow those moments to happen even more often.
